I was there for ONLY ONE MONDAY NIGHT STAY (4Nov2024), at 675 Main Street at Howard Johnson by Wyndham South Portland, ME 04106!!! This was to attend my (5Nov2024) at MaineHealth - Neurosurgery Follow-up Appointment with Dr Matthew Sanborn at 92 Campus Dr Suite A Scarborough, ME 04074-8897. My appointment was completed follow-up at approximately 1:45PM on 5Nov2024 (Tuesday). I returned to Howard Johnson by Wyndham motel, and requested checking out for ONLY the 1 Night Stay of (4Nov2024). The Motel Requested Desk Available Person, (Rachel), stated she saw my needs and agreed to allow my check-out immediately on (5Nov2024), at approximately 2:15PM, as I was packed and ready to leave the room!!! I was extremely thankful for this very understandable and timely response to my medical needs by the Motel’s Staff!!!

Friendly and very helpful staff when we had a problem with our phone. On site restaurant and bar (Copper Smith Inn) was convenient. Nice amenities (pool and gym). Breakfast was good.

The location was great, the bed was comfortable, the room was fine, the value great, no carpet was a bonus, and the sink in with the toilet and one outside the bathroom is a great design. Although I didn't use bed them, having a microwave, frig, and coffee maker would have been great.

We loved the price and the location. My kids loved the pool and the fact that it stayed open so late! The room size was great - we are a family of four and there was plenty of room for us in the room without us feeling cramped.

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, although it is a bit far from downtown Portland. If you drive, this may not be an issue, as Portland is not a large city. The hotel has a pool and serves breakfast. The staff are friendly and bring fresh towels every day, but they did not make our beds during our stay. Parking is plus.

Good choices at breakfast. The lady who is working gat the dining area was very helpful and friendly.

It was safe and comfortable. Located in a perfect space. And the attached restaurant was amazing. The free breakfasts were delicious. The pool was warm and clean.

Nice hotel with a friendly staff, the rooms were spacious enough, and the breakfast was OK. Even though the hotel is somewhat on the outskirts of Portland, it's still within a 10-minute driving distance from downtown.
